March 13, 1998 - Met Tim at the Male Strippers in Wiota, Iowa. (No, he was not a stripper, everyone knows Tim can't dance :)
July 29, 2000 - Got engaged to my very own cowboy (hubba, hubba)
September 1, 2001 - Married my cowboy!
January 7, 2002 - Tim started having weakness, numbness and tingling in his left hand and face. Thought we better see a doctor about this issue. Faced many fears about what it could be...TIA, stroke, brain tumor, blood clots and an array of other diseases.
February, 2002 - Started living with the realization that Tim has a form of MS, thought to be viral. He was doing well so we opted not to pursue aggressive treatment.
Fast forward to 2007 - Hello new symptoms and worsening of balance, memory and general attitude and strength. We finally decided to be aggressive and Tim went on the medication Rebif. They make him feel kinda weak but not horrible. His latest MRI shows worsening and spreading of his disease process.
April 2008 - Symptoms continue to be an issue and worsening. Farming becomes a safety concern and we start talking about heading south for the winter.
September, 2008 - Seriously talking about a permanent move to the south now, actually start dreaming and looking for homes in Texas.
Now onto the next blog to see what I call God's handiwork...
